Almost a year ago. i had healthy and thin hair. i used to apply a large amount of lifebuoy shampoo every second day on the middle area (crown portion) of my scalp. Slowly & gradually i started loosing my hair. my hair fell only from the portion of my scalp where i applied shampoo.
I examined many treatments but nothing worked and my hair kept falling.
Now. every second day i apply Luke warm Coconut+Castor oil on my scalp and massage. And then i use the thin gap side of comb and start combing. i find whitish small substances (flakes or dandruff or whatever) on my comb. i keep combing unless i find my comb coming from my hair without any whitish small substances (dandruff or flakes). After removing this whitish small substances from my scalp i feel my hair healthy. and they stop falling for two days. after two days samll whitish substances gather again and the hair starts falling again and i have to repeat the process and remove the whitish small substances(dandruff or flakes or whatever) from my scalp.
very important thing is, this whitish small substances appears on the same particular scalp area where i used to apply shampoo.
what's this whitish small substances? dandruff or flakes?
how can dandruff and flakes be treated ?
is this any infection? can it be treated?
Now please help me and guide me how can i get rid of this problem ?????
do tell me about the name of the infection
thanks a lot.
Best Regards

Dear Akif

It seems that you may have sebhorroeic dermatitis. This can be treated with Nizoral shampoo which helps to eliminate the fungus which may be causing your flakes. A twice weekly wash would do the trick.

Dear Akif

You cannot use clobederm lotion for more than a month as this may cause thinning of the scalp. Even fongitar shampoo cannot be used for a long time due to side effects of tar products. You may use Kito Z shampoo which is excellent against dandruff, itching and scalp inflammation. You may get this from Hairmedics.com

Dear Soniya

Sebhorreic dermatititis may be caused by a fungus. I suggest that you wash your hair twice weekly with Nizoral shampoo. As for your hairloss, you may try using a combo lotion of Minoxidil 2% with tretinoin sensitive skin formula. This may be obtained from http://www.hairmedics.com

Male pattern hair loss is a widespread situation, where men encounter disappearing of hair on the scalp. This also results in receding hairline or balding on the scalp area of the head. There is a need to find a medicine that stabilizes the overall DHT level and help stop follicles.

I'm 40 and have a hair loss problem since last 5 yrs. I tried many drugs, shampoos, gels and creams and finally Propecia Finasteride worked for me. Generic Propecia contains the active ingredient Finasteride, a type II 5-alpha reductase drug that restricts the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone. It certainly has some side effects. I too had experienced side effect like decreasing sexual desire in the beginning but as my body got used to it slowly, the side effect disappeared.

After year and a half, today I am satisfied with the result. I am buying propecia from emedoutlet. These guys are best in quality and fast in delivery. Propecia 1mg costs $ 16/- for ONE MONTHS OF SUPPLY. Recently, I have recd 15% discount coupon. The discount coupon number is 5234E. You also can take an advantage of free shipping with code 4848B - You can use either Discount code or free shipping code, you can not use both at a time. If any one of you want to buy propecia and want to take advantage of discount or free shipping, you can try these coupon codes. I believe it should work for you also.  Smiley
